The Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation has adopted procedures for domestic tournaments in the upcoming 2025–2026 season.
Tournament procedures will be as follows. First: club tournaments (individual competitions).
Billiards only, open to all nationalities in Riyadh, Makkah, the Eastern Region, the Northern Region and the Southern Region.
Two women's club tournaments for all age groups, and a club tournament for juniors, younger juniors and children.
Second: individual ranking tournaments.
Billiards and snooker for Saudi nationals only. Club membership is not required. Events take place in three main regions: Riyadh, Makkah and the Eastern Region.
The highest-ranked players from the three regions qualify for the two Kingdom Championships, producing a national ranking of 32 individual players. The leading players will be selected for national team camps based on these rankings. The federation's technical committee will issue a detailed statement.
Acting Federation Chairman Mr. Naif Al-Jawini reaffirmed the commitment to developing the game: “We are working hard to take the sport to levels it has never reached before.
We welcome all players to the individual tournaments. They may compete in both snooker and billiards at the same time. Substantial prize money, reaching SAR 750,000, will be awarded at the end of the season. A fair ranking system based on players' performance and results will determine national team representation abroad.”
