About
The governing body for billiards and snooker in Saudi Arabia since 2001, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
The Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation is the governing body for billiards and snooker in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is chaired by Mr. Nayef bin Mansour Al-Jawini, and supervised by Ministry of Sport.
Established in 2001, the federation has organized numerous tournaments in the Kingdom, including the 2017 Al Khobar Open with 170 world-class players, through to hosting the World Pool Championship and the Snooker Masters in Jeddah in 2025.
The foundation of the federation's work: a clear vision, defined responsibilities, and four goals against which performance is measured.
Introduce billiards and snooker throughout the Kingdom to broaden participation and develop players who represent Saudi Arabia with distinction internationally.
Promote billiards and snooker among young people in every region of the Kingdom and make the sports accessible, drawing them away from environments that may harm their health or social well-being. Develop technical and organizational personnel to a high level of readiness for their responsibilities when organizing or competing at international events.
Four goals guiding the federation
Earn titles and medals locally, across the Arab world, and internationally.
Host competitions and events in professional environments across the regions.
Expand participation in snooker and billiards among younger age groups.
Achieve outstanding performance and improve services for players and partners.
